Luis Enrique Jeronimo is a highly skilled Machine Learning Engineer with over 5 years of relevant experience in the field. He is currently working at Kueski as a Machine Learning Engineer where he is responsible for working on various projects related to frontend, backend, cloud, and data science. Luis has acquired extensive experience working with cloud services such as AWS, Lambda, RDS, API Gateway, and S3. He is familiar with Agile methodologies and has worked with Scrum and Kanban practices. Luis is a graduate of a Master's degree in Computer Systems from the Instituto Tecnológico Superior de Poza Rica, where he conducted research on machine learning for forecasting acute respiratory infections. He also holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Systems Engineering from the same institution. Luis has participated in various programming contests such as ACM International Programming Contest, Microsoft Imagine Cup, entrepreneurship contests, and hackathons during his university studies. Before joining Kueski, Luis worked at IBM as an Application Developer - Cloud Innovation - Java, where he built REST APIs in a microservices architecture with Java. He worked with technologies such as Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and JPA mainly for web and mobile applications. Luis is experienced in working with SonarQube and Maven Site to generate reports of APIs and find which parts of the code he can improve and fix. He is also familiar with working in teams to avoid security leaks, improve performance, and apply best programming practices to deliver quality work to clients. Luis's technical skills include ML, frontend and backend development, software engineering, data science, AWS, research science, testing, Redux, Java, Spring, mobile, Python, Ruby, Spring Boot, microservices, and web development.
